Looking for a way to top your Fall-themed ornaments? Try using 'falling leaves' in place of a bow!
While this look can work beautifully with any fall themed design, it looks particularly stunning on the sleek looking Kimekomi ornaments such as the FREE Moonlight Pattern or the Elements Pattern.
In the example above, I used some beautiful glittery fall fabrics to make my Moonlight ornament and then finished it with gold cord. (I have some pre-marked foam balls that make this SO fast and easy.)
To add the leaves this way, start at the bottom, and pin each one on at the top of the leaf... this way your pins will get covered as you go....AND, you can go back and move them around if you want to. You can find leaves in the floral or seasonal department of your favorite craft store.
This look could also work with holly leaves for Christmas variation!
If you want to try your own Moonlight ornament, you can find the FREE download here.
Beautiful as always……….Thank you Staci for all you do!
I am waiting to get a instruction for the leaf ornament pattern. I have tried Firefox and can’t get it to open.
I don’t know what to do at this point. I see where you sent the email just can’t open instructions. Thanks for trying.
