Time for Week Two!

This week we're doing the Snowflake Pattern!

One of my VERY favorite patterns is the Snowflake Pattern. This was originally an Ornament Girls Club Pattern (over 4 years ago now), and it was so popular that it eventually became a Classic!

This pattern originally used four different fabrics, but in the video tutorial which comes with the pattern, I explain and show you how to adapt the original pattern, to THREE fabrics, for the Ornament Challenge.

In my Snowflake ornament, I used my white fabric for both my Base Square color and Layer Two. I used my darker pink for my outline layers (Layers One & Three), and then did the outer layer in the lighter pink floral.

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Snowflake Ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... you can arrange your fabrics like I have above, or better yet, mix it up!

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses an 8-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... this one can either be done without lines, or you can draw your own.)

    Wow they are so nice and creative. I am able to do something when given instructions but am not creative. I love doing these ornaments though.
