Wow, it's already Week #5!

How have your ornaments been coming along?

(If you are behind, don't worry. This is meant to be fun... do them when you can!)

For Week 5, I'm excited to bring one of our past CLUB patterns out of the vault!

This week, we're doing the Nova Pattern.

Just like many of our Club Patterns, we only did this pattern ONCE (May of 2019). It has not usually been available outside the Club.

I couldn't wait to try it out with my challenge fabrics, and see what all of you do with it as well.

IMPORTANT! If you were an Ornament Girl during May, 2019, DO NOT BUY THIS. You have automatic access! Look in your Pattern Library, under the 'Classic Patterns' tab. (You may need to log out, and then log back in again.)

BUT! If you DON'T yet own this pattern, now's your chance to own this previously club-only pattern! You can grab it HERE for a very special price for the next 3 days!

Your turn!

When you make this ornament, please don't forget to share it with me and the other Challengers! You can share it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #6. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornamenting!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a 6-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... you can also draw your own. (We'll show you how!)

Did Monica do something different with the order of her fabrics? The gold swirl really stands out nicely on her ornament.

Diane, I think she and Darlene did theirs exactly as described in the pattern and it gives that effect… and mine got wonky somehow and does not have the swirl. If you follow the directions exactly, you should end up with the swirly look!

Whoops, I was wrong. Monica just said she DID indeed change her arrangement of fabrics a little bit to create this effect. I’ll ask her to jump in and give a better answer here about what she did.
