12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2020 Week 4: The Parasol Pattern

Ready for Week 4 of the Ornament Challenge? This week, we're doing the....

Parasol Pattern!

The Parasol Pattern is a 'go-to' because it's so easy to make, but the results are STUNNING. This is a great pattern for simply showing off your fabrics themselves.

The Parasol Pattern will show you how to do the simple Flutter Fold technique on a round ball, but it also shows you how to adapt it to other shapes in the eBook & Video combo).

If you don't yet own the Parasol Pattern, it's available for a very special price for the next 3 days, right HERE.

(Already own the Parasol Pattern? You can access it in your eBook Library.)

In the original pattern, Monica shows this ornament with 2 fabrics (alternating them), but don't worry, this one is VERY easy to adapt to 3 fabrics. Just add your third fabric to the sequence!

(And, I've got info on how many pieces you'll need to cut for 3 fabrics, right on the pattern download page.)

Check out Darlene's version.. it came out looking like a butterfly!

Your turn!

When you make this ornament, please don't forget to share it with me and the other Challengers! You can share it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #5. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornamenting!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a 6-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... you don't absolutely need lines for this pattern, or you could also draw your own. (We'll show you how!)

p.p.s. Here is my Parasol Ornament:
