Purple and Gold Kimekomi Pumpkin| OG Inspire

Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!

These posts will take you only a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas.

Today's ornament: A Purple and Gold Kimekomi Pumpkin!

Pattern Info: This ornament was made using the Kimekomi technique, and guys, I know I've been saying forEVER we'd have a tutorial for this soon. I'm sorry it's not here yet. I actually did record one and it was such a disaster, I'm too embarrassed to post it anywhere lol. But I will re-record one soon!

In the meantime, you can totally use the Moonlight tutorial, because it's the same technique. You'll just want to use a pumpkin foam shape instead.

Materials Info: Made on a Soft Foam Pumpkin.

The fabric is Artisan Batiks Solid Fabric - (Prisma Dyes, Light Plum Perfect Crocus, by Lunn Studio for Robert Kaufman).

The gold cording was from Hobby Lobby. And, you'll find the OG Tucking Tool helpful too, of course!

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann
