12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2024 Week 7: The Jubilee Pattern

What? It's Week #7 already?

This week we're making...

The Jubilee Pattern.

Yes, we're bringing another one out of the 'past club pattern' vault, but guess what? This one was originally done on an egg shape for Easter, but we have written an entirely NEW eBook, and recorded an entirely NEW video tutorial showing you how to make this on a round foam ball.

And I have more exciting news. If you were an OG Club Member when this pattern was introduced back in March, you already have access to this new version in your Pattern Library. (in other words.. don't buy it!)

But if not, don't worry... now is your chance to buy this beautiful, previously club-only pattern.

Isn't it gorgeous? The center almost appears to spin, while the outer layer is anchored with drapey butterfly folds. This is a great pattern for showing off fabrics with a larger print... it's also perfect for patriotic fabrics, as you can see at the top of this post!

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Jubilee ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... you can arrange your fabrics like we have, or better yet, mix it up!

Remember, if you don't know how to make the Jubilee pattern, you can buy it at the special price for this week only!

Then, show me what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #8.

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time-based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a 8-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... this one can either be done without lines, or you can draw your own.)

p.p.s. Here are some of the OG Team's Week #7 ornaments:

Darlene's beautiful pink & gold Christmas Jubilee (and her patriotic version is at the top of this post):

Tanya's adorable Halloween and Christmas Jubilee ornaments:

Kennedy's adorable vintage rose-themed Jubilee:

Olivia's beautiful red & green holly Jubilee:

Elizabeth's elegant red & gold Jubilee:

I did not see the new e book or video in my pattern library. I am an OG member and have the pattern for the egg. Thanks,

I found that version under Classic Patterns.

Hi Regina, the ball variation is going to be in your Classic Patterns library. You might need to refresh your browser. Here is the direct link to that page: https://ornamentgirls.com/pattern-workshops/jubilee/

I can’t find it, either. The egg version is in my library but it doesn’t i7nclude the ball version.

Hi Carol, I’m so sorry for any confusion! The ball variation is in the Classic Patterns library, here is a direct link to that page: https://ornamentgirls.com/pattern-workshops/jubilee/

It’s not in my classic library.

Hi Carol, you may need to refresh your browser. It is going to be a little further down the page near the Rosebud and Quilted Owl pattern.

Make it three with me. The egg version is the only one that appears in my library, too.

  4. Janna on November 11, 2024 at 9:37 am

Look under the Classic Patterns. If you have the OG Club version, it will appear there for free.

Is this the same pattern as Carnival?

    • Sarah Cinocco on November 11, 2024 at 4:17 pm

      Hi Linda,
The Jubilee pattern is a different pattern than the Carnival pattern.

    Morning Sarah,
I was just wondering if we will we also have access to the egg version?

Thank you so much for this beautiful ornament.

    • Sarah Cinocco on November 12, 2024 at 1:26 pm

      Hi Robin,
The egg variation is exclusive to members of The Ornament Girls Club, but it looks like you are part of our Christmas Club so you do have the option to purchase patterns that are exclusive. You can do that in our secret store (if you need that link, please send us an email to staciann@theornamentgirl.com and we’ll be happy to help). You will want to look for the March 2024 pattern, that will also give you access to the round variation.
