Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!

These posts won't take you but a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas.

Today's ornament is one of my old favorites: a ribbon ornament with glittery blue poinsettias.

Pattern Info:This ornament was made with the Basic Star Pattern (<--Want to learn this pattern? Learn it step by step HERE).

Materials Info: Made on a 3" SoftFoam ball, using 2 different kinds of holiday ribbon from Joann.

I get asked a lot if I remove the wire from the edges of my ribbons before I use them in an ornament. I usually do! (But, only if it's easy to remove. Most of the time, it comes right on out).

Happy Ornament-ing!

I love this Frosted Poinsettia Basic Star SOOOOOO MUCH, the VERY MOST of all! If it were possible, I would purchase any remaining ribbon used to make that you may have, Staci Ann!

Hi Shellie, we are so glad you love this ribbon! I am so sorry, we do not have the ribbon available! I know Hobby Lobby is starting to bring out their Christmas stuff and the other stores are probably not far behind. I hope you can find something similar so you can create your own!

Thanks, Sarah, for taking the time to reply, and for encouragement–yes, I will enjoy rhe hunt for similar, as I love ribbon-ornament making AND blue poinsettias!
