12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2025 Week Seven: The Pirouette Pattern

It's amazing to me that we're already at Week #7. This week, we're making....

The Pirouette Pattern.

We don't bring many OG Club patterns out of the vault (and when we do, it's usually only during this annual challenge). Almost all of them remain completely exclusive to the club, but whenever we do bring them out, we've usually waited a pretty long time.

This pattern is no exception. It was originally introduced 4 years ago, and I'm thrilled to re-introduce it now because it's a fun one!

Like many of our patterns, it looks complicated, but we have a truly simple process for bringing it to life. You'll love not just the pattern itself, but the texture of this ornament when it's completed. It's a gorgeous one!

WERE YOU A CLUB MEMBER IN DECEMBER 2021? Do not purchase this. You automatically have access to this pattern in your Pattern Library!

If you do NOT have the Pirouette Pattern, you can get it right HERE for a very special price, this week only!

(Already own it? Access it HERE. If you aren't sure if you own this pattern or not, simply click this link and see if you have access. Make sure you're logged in!)

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Pirouette ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... you can arrange your fabrics like we have, or better yet, mix it up!

Remember, if you don't know how to make the Pirouette pattern, you can buy it at the special price for this week only!

Then, show me what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #8.

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time-based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a 8-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... we have a video and template that shows you how to easily draw your own.)

p.p.s. Here are some of the OG Team's Week #7 ornaments:

Darlene's beautiful blue and white floral Pirouette ornament:

Cheri's stunning pink & green Pirouette is shown above. Here is her blue, tan, & black version:

Tanya's adorable Valentine Pirouette...

Kennedy's beautiful Christmas Holly Pirouette ornament:

Olivia's stunning Christmas Holly Pirouette...

(similar color scheme as Kennedy's, but isn't it amazing how different it looks with a different fabric arrangement?)

And, my (Staci Ann's) strawberry-themed Pirouette is shown at the top of this post.

As long as I’ve been doing the Christmas challenge, I have not gotten the knack of choosing the right fabrics. I stick with it anyway.

I am sure your ornaments are lovely! It is so fun watching a whole set come together!

so pretty all of them. I am a blue color person so of course I love Darlene’s blue and white one. I am not a pink person but Cheri’s pink and green just speaks to me. funny how the choice of colors and in what order you put them in can make an ornament look like a different pattern all together.

It is so amazing how changing the fabrics up really changes the look!
