12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2024 Week 6: The Sunburst Pattern

Time for Week #6! And this week we're making...

The Sunburst Pattern.

We introduced this pattern just a few months ago! And guess what?

It's FREE.

Watch the Video Tutorial for this pattern right HERE.

We've also got a Printable Supply List for you on that page!

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Sunburst ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... you can arrange your fabrics like we have, or better yet, mix it up!

Remember, if you don't know how to make the Sunburst pattern, you can learn how RIGHT HERE.

Then, show me what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #7.

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time-based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a 8-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... this one can either be done without lines, or you can draw your own.)

p.p.s. Here are some of the OG Team's Week #6 ornaments:

Darlene's beautiful pink & gold Christmas Sunburst, and her patriotic version:

Tanya's adorable Halloween and Christmas Sunburst ornaments (notice how she changed up her last layer on one side of her Christmas version):

Kennedy's adorable vintage rose-themed Sunburst:

Olivia's beautiful red & green holly Sunburst:

Elizabeth's elegant red & gold Sunburst:

And my Sunburst ornament is at the very top of this post!

Where did Tanya find that adorable Frankenstein? All of these are really nice!

I found them on ESTY this morning. Good price but shipping is a little pricey.

Etsy is a great place to find those specific embellishments you might need. Thanks so much Margaret!

Hi Leah, I’m glad you like them! Tanya said she she thinks she found them on Amazon. They are flat back resin charms. I hope that helps!

Help please! The link for the downloadable instructions is broken…
I am really looking forward to making at least one (who can make just 1?) of these beauties!
