12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2023 Week 10: The Welcome Wreath Pattern

It's Week #10! We've only got a couple more weeks to go.

This week, we're making....

The Welcome Wreath Pattern.

This pattern is the cutest little thing, and just like a 'real' wreath that you'd hang on your door, you can make this for SO many holidays and occasions.

It's also simple and quick to make! Our pattern workshop includes a custom disc-marking template, and some bonus videos giving you different embellishment ideas.

Just like most of our patterns...  you'll get a step-by-step video tutorial AND a full-length eBook showing each step in detail, with photos.

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Welcome Wreath ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... have fun creating your color combo!

Remember, if you don't know how to make the Welcome Wreath pattern, you can buy it (on sale this week only) by CLICKING HERE.

Then, show us what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #8. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time-based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a Soft Foam Disc.

Hi Karen, the Welcome Wreath came out as part of the 2021 Christmas Bundle of patterns. If you own it, it will be in the Classic Patterns section of your Pattern Library.

Hi Stacy , I love this welcome wreath but I can’t seem to get the foam disc here in South Africa. Is there any other substitute I could use to make this . I buy your digital patterns on line.

Hi Esther, thanks so much for reaching out! This pattern was designed for a disc, so we don’t have any information for making it on another shape. We do offer the discs in our supply shop though. If you are finding it is just not possible, you can also try using a different pattern for this weeks challenge.

Could this ornament be made on 2 sides of a “round” ball?

      Hi Dee,
Thanks so much for reaching out! This pattern was designed for a disc, so we don’t have any information for making it on another shape. It could probably be made on a round ball, but you will need to experiment a bit to get the look you want.
