12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2023 Week 7: The Diamond Pattern

Since we went a little outside the comfort zone last week with the Quilted Owl Pattern (which, by the way... I've got no regrets. You guys showed us some adorable little owls!)... this week we thought we'd bring it back around to a more traditional-style design:

The Diamond Pattern.

We originally introduced this pattern back in January 2022, to celebrate our 75th month of The Ornament Girls Club.

This one is a total showstopper on the Christmas tree. And so, you'll be extra surprised by how ridiculously easy and quick it is to make!

(I think this one is a perfect choice for handmade gifts... you can put together a bunch of these very quickly.)

Just like most of our patterns...  you'll get a step-by-step video tutorial AND a full-length eBook showing each step in detail, with photos.

WERE YOU A CLUB MEMBER IN JANUARY 2022? Do not purchase this. You automatically have access to this pattern in your Pattern Library!

Here's my Christmas Holly Diamond ornament:

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Diamond ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... have fun creating your color combo!

Remember, if you don't know how to make the Diamond pattern, you can buy it (on sale this week only) by CLICKING HERE.

Then, show us what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #8. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time-based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a 4-Lined Ball. (But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball. We have a video showing you how you can mark your own.)

p.p.s. Darlene's Candy Diamond ornament is shown at the top of this post. Here are the rest of the OG Team's Week #7 ornaments:

Amazing work! It’s hard to find a favorite. Each color selection brings out a different emotion.

Was wondering which patterns might be in the bundle, should I wait or is it best to buy individually?

    • Sarah Cinocco on November 6, 2023 at 5:31 pm

Hi Florence, the patterns that will be included in the bundle at the end of the challenge will be all brand new, never before seen patterns.

Has there been a price set up for this bundle yet? When will it be available? Thank you all.

    Beautiful work everybody.

    Regards,
    Jeanne
