12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2023 Week 8: The Rustic Tree Pattern

I have been DYING to get to this pattern in the challenge. I absolutely love...

The Rustic Tree Pattern.

I don't even know what to say about this one... you'll just have to scroll down and look at the photos.

Oh, but wait, I DO want to tell you that this is another one of those quick & easy patterns. One of the coolest things about it is you can use your skinny, little, and/or otherwise weirdly-shaped little scraps to put together the tree itself, and it's SO FUN to mix and match colors and patterns.

(For example, look at Monica's not-so-Rustic Tree at the top of this page. She used a little scrap of tulle as one of her branches!)

Just like most of our patterns...  you'll get a step-by-step video tutorial AND a full-length eBook showing each step in detail, with photos.

Here's my Rustic Tree ornament:

(I used one of my ribbons doubled up as the tree trunk)

Your turn!

Your challenge is.... to make your own Rustic Tree ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... have fun creating your color combo!

Remember, if you don't know how to make the Rustic Tree pattern, you can buy it (on sale this week only) by CLICKING HERE.

Then, show us what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #8. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornament-ing!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time-based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses a Large Hemi.

I am trying real hard to break my habit of saying everything is “cute”. But these are all stinkin’ cute. I am way behind on the challenge, but I will keep on plugging away. I am so excited to be a part of this group.
