12 Weeks of Christmas Ornaments Challenge 2022 Week 7: The Weathervane Pattern

It's hard to believe we're already on Week #7. How are your ornaments coming along so far?

This week, we're doing the...

Weathervane Pattern.

Okay, so people get a little intimidated by this one. It looks complicated.

It's not! The layers are simple, and they build on each other to magically create this awesome Weathervane 'quilt block' design.

This one is fun to see come together. And the pattern even comes with a printable Fabric/Color Planner Sheet, to make creating your design even more creative.

(Oh, and the planner sheet is just one of the bonuses this pattern comes with. There are several variation videos, including the 'Snow Globe' center, like Darlene did in her challenge ornament below, and the 'Pinwheel' center, like Sarah and I did in ours.)

$7 bucks gets you an awful lot of goodies with this one.

The Weathervane Pattern will be available this week, at this special price.

Already own this pattern? You can access it HERE.

Here's an example of two different versions of the pattern made with the same fabrics (side one and side two of the same ornament)...

Your turn!

When you make this ornament, please don't forget to share it with me and the other Challengers! You can share it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #8. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornamenting!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses an 8-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... you can also draw your own. (We'll show you how!)
