The November Kit is sold out, but here’s what’s coming next.

On Sunday night, I listed 320 of the November Ornament Kit, and late the next morning, the last one was sold.

I’m still in shock that they sold out. I’d actually thought I’d made too many!

So, the Kit of the Month idea seems to be a smashing success, but a couple of issues did come up.

Part of the issues were technical. My shopping cart decided that if you didn’t live in the United States, you should be charged like a zillion dollars to have it shipped. EEK! This was my first time adding worldwide shipping to my cart, and I obviously need to figure out what I did wrong in my settings. Embarrassing!

The main issue though, is that some of you who wanted a kit still didn’t get one.

I have to tell you, that this completely blows me away.

(I’ve been getting some hate mail since yesterday – I really hate, hate mail :( )

I am still shipping out these kits, and I probably will be for the next 2 days. After that, I will see if I can do a few more kits next week (a few! and no promises)…. but my main focus by the end of this week is to start planning for December’s kit.

Now, about that….

I’ve received many emails, comments, and Facebook messages asking me if I could start a “club”…. a membership sort of thing, so that you didn’t have to worry about purchasing every kit each month, at the right time, before they sold out.

At first, I was not giving this too much thought. Now, though, after getting the request so many times… it is making more and more sense to me.

So, I’m working out the details on how I will set it up, but in the next week or so, I will be posting more info about my new “Kit of the Month Club”, where members will automatically receive each new kit – no waiting in line, no possibility of missing out, and the guaranteed arrival of your new kit each month. (yay!)

Will you HAVE to be a member to get a Kit of the Month?

No. I will offer them each month in my shop, too. But members will get a fixed, lower price, and be guaranteed their delivery each month.

I will post more details soon! I need to finish getting these November kits out the door to you (I can’t wait for you to get them and make them!)… but if you would, will you let me know in the comments below if you’d be interested in the Club idea? I’d LOVE to get an idea of how many people are interested.

    Yes, I would like to sign up for Ornament of The Month Club when it becomes available. Sorry to hear about the hate mail, that makes no sense to me. After all, it was a first come, first serve and you did state there were a limited amount of kits. I just don’t understand why some people become so angry.
    I can’t wait to get my kit, the ornament looks so beautiful.

    Myself being in the UK, did have problems with postage rates but Staci sorted out for me. The monthly club would be so great for me, it will save the problem with postage and waiting up till the small hours so I don’t miss out as it was 12.30 am over here when they went on sale. And was a very long night. But it will be worth it.

    I would love a kit also if you find any extra lol. Maybe some people that didn’t get the kit for November should have first shot of
    the December kit. I don’t know what you think of that or even how easy it is to do. I appreciate you creating these beautiful
    ornaments. Thank You and I am sorry some people are actually getting mad. That is juvenile. Best Wishes for a great Thanksgiving.

      Thanks, Debbie… In a perfect world I could manage that, but unfortunately I have no way that I could keep track or any of that. However, I’m hoping the club idea will alleviate this problem going forward. Not only would all of you be happier, but it would actually be easier on me, too… I would have such a better idea of how many I need each month, etc.

      If I am able to make a few more of the November kit, I will certainly let you know. :)

    I like the Kit of the Month idea. I had to work (11 hour shifts) on the day the November kit came out and did not think I would get one. If I was in that club then I would not have to worry about it. Now you will have to worry if too many people join and can you keep up. I know how much work goes into making these so let me say “Thanks” for sharing your talent Staci!!!

      The cost will be just the cost of the actual kit each month, but no extra charges for anything else at all!

    I love the idea of a kit of the month. I am sorry that you are receiving hate mail…there always have to be a few bad apples. 320 kits sold, you must be going out of your mind getting them ready to ship.

    I didn’t get one this month because my disabled husband has pneumonia and I’ve been very involved with him. Ah well, you snooze, you loose.

    I think a block of the month would be great.I also think we should give you lots of time to try and get set up so the ornament we get would be for the next month.It might take you a while to be able to set this up but your ornaments are worth the wait.Can you tell I am a quilter,I put block of the month.Thank you Staci Just remember you are only one person,make sure you don’t get too overwhelmed.

    I love the idea of a monthly club. You do a great job at correspondence, mentioning several times “limited number” on a first come basis and when the sale for the November ornament would begin. Thanks for allowing us an opportunity to glean from your amazing talent making beautiful ornaments!
