UPDATE at 9:30 A.M. EST: Today is the day! If you’re looking to get an ornament or the new Pinwheel pattern, please read this short post. I will be announcing when my shop is open in just a few hours.

This Thursday, December 11th, I will have a small collection of new ornaments and kits available to buy, including the little blue beauty above (although I received a few bribes for it when I posted it on Facebook a couple of days ago – I didn’t succumb!).

I wanted to give you a few details about the upcoming ornament sale so you know what to expect. Last time I had ornaments available, everything sold out so fast, that my website couldn’t keep up, and quite a few ornaments & kits were accidentally oversold. (It was kind of a disaster to sort out.) Since some of the ornaments I’ll have this Thursday are one of a kind (like the one above!), I am going to try selling everything this time over in my Etsy shop. I will be sending the link to subscribers this Thursday so you’ll know where to go.

Everything will be first come, first serve. (As much as I wish I could make 50 of these a day so there would be enough for everyone!)

But, I’ll be letting my newsletter subscribers know FIRST when my shop goes live… so make sure you’re all signed up.

As usual, each ornament will be packaged in a custom, foil-embossed gift box, with its own dated (& initialed) name card inside.

Oh, and guess what else? I will also be introducing a brand new quilted ornament pattern that I’ve been working on….I can’t wait to share this one! Here’s a look:

I’m so excited about this one, and to celebrate, the new pattern will be 30% off the regular price, making it only $7. This special price will be available for Thursday and Friday ONLY, and then it will go to its regular price.

You’ll get the link to my shop on Thursday, as soon as I’ve got everything ready to go! In the meantime, I’ll be previewing some more of the ornaments on my Facebook page over the next 2 days, so make sure you’re following along with me there if you’d like a sneak peek. :)

Thanks so much for reading! I’ll be talking with you again this Thursday.

p.s. I have another special surprise pattern deal to share with you on Thursday, via email. Make sure you don’t miss it!

I am trying to sign up for your newsletter to get a free pattern. My mom was a professional quiltmaker and Id like to make the quilted ornaments in her memory but I can’t afford to buy the pattern this year, so I want to stay on touch. My mobile app won’t give me a link to sign up so could you add me or let me know what to do, please? Merry Christmas!

Hi Pamela! I’m so sorry for the trouble. I’ve just emailed you the free pattern. I can’t add you to my email list without your permission, but I will check to see if your attempts to join went through, and get right back to you to let you know. Thank you so much, and I apologize again for the trouble!

these ornaments remind me of the ornaments my great aunt made for each child that was born in our family. Is therea a way to pin these on Pinterest ? I’d like to try making them and save the idea.
    Thanks, Melissa
