Winter Wonderland Quilted Ornament

Well, no…but Christmas is definitely beginning to hit the stores (earlier and earlier every year, it seems!), and I for one, love it. I would personally be happy to leave my Christmas tree up all year long…yes, I am one of THOSE people! ;) But when I visit my favorite craft stores, there is a moment for me every fall, when I turn into an aisle and am faced with rows and rows of Christmas ribbon…and at the moment, I can practically hear the angel choir singing and see the beam of light shining down on all that beautiful, glittering, shimmering beauty. Yep, I am pretty ridiculous…but at the same time, my mind starts to go crazy with new ornament ideas for the upcoming holiday season.

This year, that moment occurred just last week, and inspiration led me to create a gorgeous “Winter Wonderland.” I know there are still several months until wintertime, but I just couldn’t resist the shimmering pale blue and white ribbons, and glittery snowflakes. The ornaments came together so beautifully, and the first is up for auction now on ebay…

The second ornament, “Wonderland,” will go up for auction next week. I am also taking orders for the set if you would rather not bid on ebay…if you are interested in ordering one or both, just send an email to me at staciann@theornamentgirl.com. Keep in mind that I have a waiting list…I am backed up by several hundred ornaments at this time. (but I am working my little fingers as fast as I can!)

Very nice and intricate design. I too would prefer to leave my Christmas decorations up all year (especially my snowman & quilt collections!).

Both of the Christmas ornaments were fantastic and the other thing instantly catching my eye was the Halloween one previously posted (my second favorite holiday) … :)
