Join us, and we'll make the Basic Pattern together (via Livestream).
We'll walk through making this ornament step-by-step, and you'll get a Printable Supply List that tells you what materials and fabric cuts you'll need to prep ahead of time to make your ornament.

The date for the Livestream event itself is set for October 2nd.
If you want to join in, but can't make it to the Livestream, don't worry! You will also receive forever-access to the recording.

What pattern will we be making?
We will be making the Basic Star Pattern, with 3 layers per side.
I will be making this beautiful ornament in the strawberry fabrics shown in some of the pictures above, but you can choose any fabrics you'd like!
Your Printable Supply List will tell you how many pieces of each fabric you will need ahead of time.
Are eBooks included?
No, this Live Event does NOT include an eBook.
You WILL be receiving a Printable Supply Sheet, listing all the materials and fabric cuts/amounts you'll need for this pattern.
(And no, you will NOT need to buy the eBook to participate in this event. We'll be walking you through every step of making the ornament on the Live, and you'll have access to the recordings for FOREVER.)
Will I be able to buy pre-lined Soft Foam Balls for this?
You certainly can! Find all our pre-marked Soft Foam right HERE. (For this particular pattern, you will need (1) 8-Lined Ball.)
But, I'll also provide you with a prep video, specifically showing you how to mark your OWN 3" foam ball just for this Live. And I promise it isn't hard at all! I'll take you through it step-by-step and get you all prepped for your ornament!
How much fabric will I need?
You will need under 1/4 yard of fabric total, of three different fabrics.
Your fabric will need to be cut ahead of time, and the Printable Supply List will tell you exactly how many pieces of each fabric to cut.
What if I miss a Livestream?
Not to worry! You'll get forever-access to the recording.
There will be a special page on our membership site where you'll be able to access the Supply Sheet, Ball Prep Video, and recorded Livestream for this event.
Can I buy the recordings later?
You sure can. But, because I am hoping you will jump in with us LIVE, the price is lower now.
I don't live in the U.S., but I still want to participate! Can I?
Absolutely! Keep in mind that this Live will occur at 7pm Eastern Time.

Do I need to buy a ticket to participate in The Ornament Girls Challenge?
Nope!
This live event will be a fun way to kick off the challenge, but you do not need to participate in order to join the 12 weeks of Christmas Challenge!
Do we need to buy a ticket to this event in order to participate in the rest of the challenge?
I was wondering the same thing, is this ticket for the whole 12 week challenge?
This ticket would be just for the live pin along for the Basic Star as part of week one of the challenge, but you do not need to purchase a ticket to participate in the challenge.
Hi Vicki, you do not need to buy a ticket to the live to participate in the challenge, this is just something extra we are doing this year!
Is the price of $7 only for the first challenge, or the whole live event?
Hi Carol, The $7 is just for the live Pin along with Staci Ann to make the Basic Star. You do not need to purchase it in order to join the challenge each week. This is just a little extra fun we’re doing to kick things off.
Does this $7 include for all 12 weeks?
Hi Chris, this ticket would be just for the live pin a long for the Basic Star pattern to kick off this years challenge. You do not need to join the live in order to participate in the challenge.
I was wondering the same as the others Is the $7 for all 12 weeks or is it a cost everytime? I have the basic star already so can I still do this Live Challenge?
Hi Donna, the $7 ticket is just for this live event for the Basic Star pattern. You do not need to purchase the ticket to participate in the challenge, but we think it will be a fun way to kick things off! Owning the Basic Star pattern is separate from this live challenge, so if you would like to pin along with us live on Zoom, you would still need to buy a ticket. I hope that helps! Hi, Sheilah! This year’s 12 week Christmas challenge will be just like all of the previous years. If you would like to join us over Zoom to make a Basic Star ornament together, you can purchase the $7 ticket. This live event is happening during the first week of the challenge to coincide with the same pattern, but is its own separate event and not required for the challenge in any way. We’d love to see you there!
