Stripes tend to look best when you make sure the stripes are running lengthwise through your fabric pieces when you cut them… that way they end up running outward from the center of your finished ornament (instead of going in all different directions and wonky-looking.) You don’t always need to use a ribbon bow on your quilted ornaments. For this one, I made a hanger out of gold beads, sewing it under the gold trim to hold it in place, and then covered up any “messy” parts with gold sequins. Simple & elegant! Happy Ornament-ing!
