OG Inspire: Spring Striped Ornament

Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!

These posts won't take you but a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas.

Today's ornament: Spring Stripes!

Pattern Info: This ornament was made with the Basic Star Pattern (<-- you can learn this pattern FREE in my Basic Star Workshop).

Materials Info: Made on a 3" Soft Foam ball, with striped fabric & ribbon from Joanns. The rhinestone-studded flower charm is from Two Purple Pandas.

Stripes tend to look best when you make sure the stripes are running lengthwise through your fabric pieces when you cut them... that way they end up running outward from the center of your finished ornament (instead of going in all different directions and wonky-looking.)

Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't exceptions!

Happy Ornament-ing!

My biggest problem with seeing all these cute ornaments and wanting to make them is….finding the fabric! Where do you get your nice, quality fabric? Do you sell it?

Hi Mona, we recommend fabrics from craft stores like Joann’s, Hobby Lobby, or even fabrics off places like Etsy.com. We also sell some fabric on our shop here: https://theornamentgirl.com/market/
