Tips & Tricks: Keepsake Ornaments from a Wedding Dress

The other day one of our Ornament Girls Club Members posted the most amazing idea in our private Facebook Group.

She makes custom ornaments for clients, and made a very special keepsake for one of them... the ornaments above, made from her clients' mothers' old wedding dress.

You could do this with any number of ornament patterns! Here, Sarah used the Elements Pattern. Aren't' they gorgeous?

Here's a photo she shared of the original dress.

I hope this gives you some ideas for your own keepsake ornaments!

      What a beautiful keepsake! Unfortunately we do not take on custom finished ornaments at this time. I’m so sorry about that.     Hi I came across this and would love to have a pattern to make something simple hearts, angel or ball
    My mom passes in 2020 and big legal battle with sister who had new will made up a few weeks prior to her death while on hospice. We know she didn’t sign the will now that I got everything revised back to her wishes . And found her wedding dress from 1954 I would like to make something out of it for the 5 kids 10 grand and 4 great grand children for them to put on there tree at Christmas to remember her. We will soon be able to bury her and Dads ashes as she wanted
    Thinking in spring when brother can travel to NJ
    This will give me time to make them.
