wow this one could even pass for a snowflake. the white fabric with its embroidery looks gorgeous. i like to see you come up with an idea like that.
Thank you so much for that great feedback and kind words! I’m so happy you are enjoying Staci’s (and design team) ideas! Have a great day.
Would you use the same fabric cutout pattern for the pumpkin as the round ball for the Kimekomi?
Hi Joy, the pumpkin will be smaller, but it would work! You will have more trimming. I sometimes like to use a plastic bag to trace a segment for Kimekomi and then make my own template. I hope that tip helps!
Thank you so much!!
My husband passed away last year and I have made ornaments using his white dress shirt and his black dress pants using this Kimekomi technique. Plan to give them to my 6 daughters this Christmas.
I’ve had these pumpkin forms for a while but never used them. So I’m making some decorations for my Thanksgiving table using this technique.
I’m excited to get back making these ornaments. I just couldn’t for a while after my husband died. But now I’m finding them very therapeutic ?
Thanks again
I am so very sorry to hear about your husband! What a special gift you are making for your daughters! I hope you enjoy adding a few pumpkins to the table. They have such a cozy look.
