Rustic Country Farmhouse Pumpkin Ornament

Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!

Today's ornament: a rustic Pumpkin ornament.

Pattern Info: This ornament was made using the Kimekomi Technique. You can learn this technique on a ball, HERE, and then use it on a pumpkin (or any shape!)

Materials Info: Made on Soft Foam Pumpkin. This one was nice and simple, using only one fabric, an embroidered floral fabric from Joann's. I used jute twine between the sections of the pumpkin and then wrapped it around the stem (glued in place).

Happy Ornament-ing!

Would you use the same fabric cutout pattern for the pumpkin as the round ball for the Kimekomi?

Hi Joy, the pumpkin will be smaller, but it would work! You will have more trimming. I sometimes like to use a plastic bag to trace a segment for Kimekomi and then make my own template. I hope that tip helps!
