Oh this is so pretty! Will instructions for this modification be added to the pattern!

Hi Karen.. there aren’t actually many changes. Monica used the same size fabric cuts as the original pattern and just adjusted the actual placement of the Double Dutch folds in order to make the cross shape. I hope that helps!

I would love to purchase this ornament kit. I just don’t want one every month. Is it possible to do this? I would want to order everything it takes to make this beautiful ornament. Thank you.

I hope this is our new monthly ornament. If not, how do we get the new adapts?

    • Staci Ann Lowry on March 27, 2019 at 1:37 pm

Hi Linda… it’s not the next monthly ornament since it’s so much like the December, 2018 pattern.. but, Monica used the same size fabric cuts as the original pattern and just adjusted the actual placement of the Double Dutch folds in order to make the cross shape. I hope that helps!

This is so beautiful. I would love to have the kit. May I just order them as I want them without getting one every month? Some months are busier than others.

I have the Bethlehem pattern and want to make it on an egg shape. Could you tell me how to measure for the center starting point please.

    • Sarah Cinocco on April 20, 2022 at 12:44 pm

Hi Bonita, there aren’t actually many changes to create this pattern on an egg. We used the same size fabric that is listed in the pattern adjusted the actual placement of the Double Dutch folds in order to make the cross shape. I hope that helps and happy ornament-ing!
