Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!
These posts won't take you but a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas.
Today's ornament: a custom embroidered Baby Girl's First Christmas ornament.
Pattern Info: This ornament was made with the Snow Globe pattern.
Materials Info: Made on a 3" SoftFoam ball, with custom-created embroidery as the centerpiece. (I've got a blog post RIGHT HERE explaining how to make custom embroidery pieces for your Snow Globe ornaments!)
The first layer of fabric surrounding the embroidery is a thin pink fleece-like fabric, and the outer gray/white layer is quilting cotton, both from Joann. The beaded dangle is made with beads & charms from Hobby Lobby, which are sewn to the band, before wrapping it around the finished ball.
Remember: An ornament like this is for decoration only - never let a baby or small child play with these!
Happy Ornament-ing!

p.s. In The Ornament Girls Club, we've got a special group called the OG Marketplace, where members can buy, sell, and swap ornament supplies with each other. If you're an OG, be sure to check it out... there are several of our members there who make custom embroidery pieces for other members.
Where do you get the embellishments from?
Hi Rebekah, the beads and charms in this ornament came from Hobby Lobby. I hope that helps!
