Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!

These posts won't take you but a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas.

Today's ornament: a custom embroidered Baby's First Christmas ornament.

Pattern Info: This ornament was made with the Snow Globe pattern.

Materials Info: Made on a 3" SoftFoam ball, with custom-created embroidery as the centerpiece. (I've got a blog post RIGHT HERE explaining how to make custom embroidery pieces for your Snow Globe ornaments!)

I used plain fabric colors surrounding the embroidery, to match the baby's nursery decor. His sheets and blankets had images of blue buttons with brown threads all over it, so I tied some brown thread onto real buttons, and glued those around the band to embellish the ornament.

Remember: An ornament like this is for decoration only - never let a baby or small child play with these!

Happy Ornament-ing!

p.s. In The Ornament Girls Club, we've got a special group called the OG Marketplace, where members can buy, sell, and swap ornament supplies with each other. If you're an OG, be sure to check it out... there are several of our members there who make custom embroidery pieces for other members.
