It's the very first week of the Mini Challenge!
We're gonna start things off with the Flurry Pattern.
We thought we'd throw you for a loop by picking a pattern that didn't seem like an obvious 'patriotic' design lol. But don't worry, this one is fun and easy!
It's made up of a couple of our classic Ornament Girl folds, arranged in a pretty snowflake-ish design. This one is perfect for solid, tonal, and textured fabrics. It's simple, and comes together quickly.
This pattern comes with:
- a full-length eBook
- a full-length Video
- A printable Shopping List & Fabric Cutting Reference
- A BONUS video showing you a simple variation of the pattern, and...
- a BONUS video discussing how to choose fabrics for the Flurry Pattern.
If you DON'T yet own this pattern, you can grab it HERE for a very special price for this week only.
And, if you already own it, you can access it in your Pattern Library, HERE.
Your challenge is.... to make your own Flurry Ornament using your 3 chosen fabrics.... you can arrange your fabrics like I have above, or better yet, mix it up (like Darlene, Tanya, and Cheri did below!)
Remember, if you don't know how to make the Flurry Pattern, you can get the pattern & video combo, right HERE.
Then, show me what you've got by posting it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!
(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)
I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #2.
p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time based on the list I gave you, this week uses a 6-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... you can also draw your own!)
Here are Darlene, Tanya, and Cheri's Week #1 ornaments!
