OG Live Challenge – Red, White, & Beautiful
I'm lowering the price this time.

Introducing the Red, White, & Beautiful LIVE Challenge Event.
Join us, and we'll make 4 ornaments.... but unlike our usual annual challenges, we'll make these 4 ornaments together (via Livestream), one per week, for the next four weeks leading up to July 4th.

Tickets for the Red, White, & Beautiful Live Event will go on sale on June 5th, at the special price of only $27!
I've got the dates for each Livestream tentatively set for June 11, 18, 25, and July 2 (though please know this is subject to change as we are still working out the details).
If you want to join in, but can't make a Livestream, don't worry! You will also receive forever-access to the recordings.
We are so excited about this and can't wait to make these ornaments with you!

What patterns will we be making?
We will make:
- Victoria
- Windmill
- Twisted Snow Globe
- Carnival
But, we are making flag-style variations of these, so they will be a bit different than the original version!
Are eBooks included?
No. But, we are making variations of these patterns, so there are differences between what we will be doing and what you would find in the eBooks.
You WILL be receiving an Info Sheet listing all the materials and fabric cuts/amounts you'll need for these variations, as well as a Cheat Sheet for each individual pattern.
(And no, you will NOT need to buy the eBooks to participate in this Challenge. We'll be walking you through every step of making each ornament on each Livestream, and you'll have access to the recordings for FOREVER.)
Will I be able to buy pre-lined Soft Foam Balls for this?
You certainly can! Find all our pre-marked Soft Foam right HERE. (For this challenge, you will need (1) 5-Lined Ball, (1) 6-Lined Ball, and (2) 8-Lined Balls.)
But, I will be doing a video specifically showing you how to mark your OWN 3" foam balls just for this challenge. And I promise it isn't hard at all! I'll take you through it step-by-step and get you all prepped for your Red, White, & Beautiful ornaments!
How much fabric will I need?
You will need approximately:
- 1/3 yard red fabric
- 1/3 to 1/2 yard white fabric
- 1/4 yard blue fabric
- plus.. about 1/8 additional fabric of any color for bands
I have pre-recorded a video that walks you through cutting the pieces you'll need for all 4 ornaments at one time, so you'll be ready to go for all 4 Lives!
You'll receive immediate access to that video as soon as you purchase your ticket.
What if I miss a Livestream?
Not to worry! You'll get forever-access to all the recordings.
There will be a special page on our membership site where you'll be able to access the Info Sheets, Fabric Cutting Video, Ball-Marking Videos, recorded Livestreams... everything... for this Challenge.
Can I buy the recordings later?
You sure can. But, because I am hoping you will jump in with us LIVE, the price is lower now. (The price later will be $47.)
I don't live in the U.S., but I still want to participate! Can I?
Absolutely! You can totally make these four ornaments in YOUR country's flag colors.
In fact, one of our designers, Tanya, lives in Canada. Not only will she be making her ornaments in colors to match the Canadian flag... she has pre-recorded a video showing how to turn one of the patterns into a Maple Leaf Variation.

Hi Teri! The Livestreams are tentatively set for June 11, 18, 25, and July 2.
What times are the live streams?
I’m so glad you’re excited! Right now, the time will probably be 7 or 8 pm EST, but all of the livestreams will also be recorded so you can catch up if the timing isn’t right one week. We’ll have those details available soon!
Can you list the names of fabric pictures so we can purchase after we buy our tickets? Love the colors.
Hi Stephanie… you can use ANY fabrics you’d like, but I will get a list of the fabrics myself and the designers used in the photos above. The ones I used (in the photo at the very top) are from Henry Glass. The blue and red are ‘Down on the Farm’ and the off-white is Folio Basics. I’ll come back and comment again when I have a list from the rest of the girls on my team.
Could you please tell us the names of the fabrics, so we can order them in time to have then when the challenge starts?

Thank you for planning this. Offering the recordings is great for me since I cannot make the live streams but still want to do the ornaments at that fantastic price. Is there a limited number of tickets?
Hi Regina.. I’m glad to hear you will still be able to join! (And maybe something will work out to where you can join in live at some point in the 4 weeks?) At this time I don’t foresee limiting the number of tickets. We are using Zoom for the livestreams and they do have limits, but I will just upgrade my Zoom room if needed!

Hi Jeanne… we will be using Zoom to broadcast the Livestream and I’ll be sending out a link via email to everyone who joins. I’ll have instructions in the email, but that said, it’s not hard at all to join. You’ll be able to join with or without a camera (though we would prefer to be able to see you if possible!) And we’re happy to help if you have any questions along the way. :)

Do we need to use the same fabrics for all 4 ornaments? Eg. Red, white, blue solids 1st ornament — red with white dots, blue check, white solid 2nd ornament. ETC ???
Hi Susan, Our design team is going to be working with the fabrics in these orders when they teach the ornaments, but you can choose whichever colors you would like. The different colors are just to get your creative juices flowing so you have some ideas to work off of.
I am in the UK and seriously considering joining this challenge – not at all sure I would be able to take part in the livestreaming due to the time difference and also as I am not at all techno savvy!!!!
Will I definitely be able to watch recordings at my leisure as I would probably need to see the steps over and over again before proceeding? These designs look so pretty and I really want to broaden my skills..
Please excuse a probably dumb question but what do you mean by flag style amendments (am assuming you wish to replicate the American flag?)

All of the livestreams are going to be recorded and made available on the website for those who sign up for this challenge so they can rewatch them. You will always have access to those videos so you can re-watch at your leisure. By flag style, we mean we are rearranging the colors ad patterns a bit to mimic an American flag look. I hope that helps!

I would love to do this challenge, I have missed doing Live stuff with y’all. My problem is the fabric. Where did you get your fabric? I prefer to try to use the same. I know many have this problem, no fabric shops or places you can find fabric. I have Walmart and Hobby Lobby!

We’re so glad you’re excited about the challenge! We do not have the fabrics for the example ornaments available in our supply shop. I’m so sorry! All of our design team are using different fabrics this year as well. I’m happy to get you fabric names if you’d like to try and find an online quilt shop that is carrying them. You can also try searching through any of the summer or patriotic collections through online quilting shops. These ornaments will look lovely is so many colors!

Thank you for the question! The ticket price will give you access to the full video tutorials that will demonstrate how to make the ornaments step by step. We are also including a cut guide for each ornament. The challenge does not include eBooks. I hope that helps!
I’m interested in the live video, however I have only made one ornament, the starter, so I’m quite slow.
I have three questions….
will the videos be available after the workshop to watch little by little ?
are the same material, color, pattern, etc available to order in time for the workshop ?
I have three inch foam balls, will these work for this project ?

We do not have these fabrics available in our supply shop. I am so sorry! You can find beautiful patriotic fabrics at your favorite online or local quilt shop. 3″ balls will work great for these ornaments! If yours are not marked, we’ll show you how to do that ahead of time so you are ready to get started when the challenge begins. Let us know if you have any other questions.
