OG Live Challenge – Old Glory
Want to make 4 patriotic ornaments with me next month?
Introducing our first ever LIVE Challenge Event.
We've done challenges in the past, but this one is different!

Introductory Price: $37
Tickets for the Old Glory Live Event will be offered at an introductory price of $37!
I've got the dates for each Livestream tentatively set for June 8, 15, 22, and 29th (though please know this is subject to change as we are still working out the details).
If you want to join in, but can't make a Livestream, don't worry! You will also receive forever-access to the recordings.
We are so excited about this and can't wait to make these ornaments with you!

What patterns will we be making?
We will make:
- Spiral
- Prairie Pinwheel/Victoria Combo
- Pinwheel
- Sparkler
But, we are making flag-style variations of these, so they will be a bit different than the original version!
Are eBooks included?
No. But, we are making variations of these patterns, so there are differences between what we will be doing and what you would find in the eBooks.
You WILL be receiving an Info Sheet listing all the materials and fabric cuts/amounts you'll need for these variations.
(And no, you will NOT need to buy the eBooks in order to participate in this Challenge. I'll be walking you through every step of making each ornament.)
Will I be able to buy pre-lined Soft Foam Balls for this?
I am so sorry to say that right now, we are experiencing major supply chain delays, and I am not sure when our next shipment of pre-lined balls are arriving.
But, I will be doing a video specifically showing you how to mark your OWN 3" foam balls just for this challenge. And I promise it isn't hard at all! I'll take you through it step-by-step and get you all prepped for your Old Glory ornaments!
What if I miss a Livestream?
Not to worry! You'll get forever-access to all the recordings.
Not only will you be able to access everything in the pop-up Facebook Group, but there will also be a special page on our membership site where you'll be able to find everything for this Challenge.
Can I buy the recordings later?
You sure can. But, because I am hoping you will jump in with us LIVE, the price is lower now. (The price later will be $57.)
I don't live in the U.S., but I still want to participate! Can I?
Absolutely! You can totally make these four ornaments in YOUR country's flag colors. We'd love to have you join us!

I am treasuring this time I have with her, so I have little time left for my hobby. T. I am so interested in this new challenge. Must I be an Ornament Girl member to join in. Vera, I don’t have that quite nailed down yet, but I think it will most likely be in the evening, like 6 or 7 pm (Eastern Time). Please don’t hold me to that though… we’re still working out the details.
What foam balls do we need for these?
3″ Foam Balls, one with 5 lines, one with 6 lines, and two with 8 lines.
I’ll be doing a video showing how to do all these markings if you don’t have pre-lined balls.
And, this info will also be provided on a downloadable Info Sheet! :)

Brenda, definitely! It’s actually going to be closer to a quarter yard (or just a smidge over), so you’ll have plenty!

Hi Carol… This will be an entirely separate thing so no, at this time, I don’t have plans to add any of this content to existing patterns.
Will we be able to order the foam balls?
Beverlee, right now we don’t have any of the lined foam for sale, unfortunately (we’re dealing with some major supply chain delays), but you’ll be able to use any 3″ foam ball, and I’ll be doing a video taking you through all the ball-marking.
Think I’ll give this to myself for my June birthday!! Sounds good to me!!

Will you have any of the beads or embellishments you are using available in the OG store? Or where to purchase. Bead size etc? I’m really excited to challenge myself!
The beads I used were 3mm but you could use any size/kind you like. (I used bronze round beads). I hope that helps!

I’m not sure about limiting it yet. I honestly don’t know what to expect, since much of it will be live and we’re not entirely sure yet what interface we’ll be using to deliver the broadcast.

Hi Barbara… I’m sorry to hear about your arm! I hope it’s healing quickly. While I’ll be teaching these step-by-step, I think it will be helpful if you’ve at least made one or two ornaments (like the Basic Star).
That being said, the recordings would be yours to keep forever, so if you found the first time through a little challenging, you would always be able to go back through as much as needed!

Thanks for getting back with me. I have been caring for my parents 24/7 during the week so was trying to block some me time. I may not make the LiveStream but I am going to enjoy making these ornaments.

Hello … this sounds really interesting … is there going to be a limit on how many can join in for these online classes?
I am hoping I will be able to participate. I’ll be at our seasonal campground by then and internet can be problematic sometimes, have to hot spot phone for internet, but if I can’t join in live, at least the videos will be forever available. :)

I was wondering if I could be a part of this but the month of June I am having some teeth work done the first of June then when that heals I am having
surgery right after I feel good enough from the dentist. I always love everything you do and this sounds wonderful but I am not sure if Iwillbe able to keep up.
