I am more excited about the Christmas Club than getting to be an OG just this past March. Well, it feels that way because Christmas adds more Joy to my life. Who wouldn’t want Christmas all year long? My goal is to make every ornament for my new 7 foot tree (with white lights) replacing everything I lost up North when Sandy hit!!!

Since we already have ebooks for these patterns will you be telling us which month and pattern is being used? I work better from my printed ebooks than from the videos. This is exciting!
Virginia absolutely. We’ll let you know which pattern it is, so that if you already own the eBook version of it, you can certainly go back and use it.
And, for those who don’t end up joining the Christmas Club, but would like to make their own versions, we’ll definitely let you all know which pattern each kit is using.
Hi I’m currently an OG. if I switch to the Christmas group and cancel my OG membership will I still have access to everything from my previous membership? Thanks
Candy, yes. You will ALWAYS have access to any of the patterns you received as a member. :)
Just curious, how many members are there in the regular club that actually get a kit each month? You and your staff must be super organized to accomplish what you do!
Thanks Nancy! We’ve had to get very organized over the last several years in order to make it all work. We have close to 2000 people currently receiving a kit each month.
I am excited about joining the Christmas club but fear that with 2000 OG members having the first opportunity to join that there won’t be many spaces available for those of us who want Christmas only ornaments. Somehow this doesn’t seem quite fair.
Donna, I’m really sorry it doesn’t seem fair. We are trying our hardest to make sure we’re doing this the fairest way possible for all concerned. We do not believe all the spaces will be filled by current OG club members but of course, we can’t predict exactly how this will all turn out. I hope you are able to grab a spot! I have only been a member for a bit over a year, so there may be ebooks that I do t have. Will there be an option to get any pattern I don’t have?
Sonia, I am considering a special option for that situation, though I want to be clear that you won’t NEEd to buy the eBook for any pattern you don’t already have. We’ll be providing a step by step video tutorial for every Christmas Club kit.

I’m scared that I’m not going to be able to get in. I’m a die-hard Christmas ornament type of person. While I’m loving the current club; there are some that aren’t quite Christmasy. I hope I’ll be able to get in the group!

When will there be openings for the OG club
Cant wait for Christmas club. Can you make sure you put out the join information at a time of day that is best for everyone to have a chance to try? Or do something like you did with the little angels so we have a chance

I am hoping you will allow the current members to get into the Christmas Club before letting others join. I am wanting only Christmas because that is my passion and I only have to sell for a couple of months which gives me time to get enough to sell. Count me in as a member. Talk to you in Nov.

Will the existing facebook group also be used for the Christmas club? Or will we get a new FB froup dedicated only to the Christmas club?… my vote, ??? is for a Christmas only group. Thats a very nice incentive to those that want to pay for a send group.
Shannon, thanks for the feedback. As of right now, I’m planning on having just one group for all OGs, no matter which club they are in, but I’m considering all possible options for this. :)
I’m very excited about this new opportunity. However, you normally open your purchase posts in the morning. As I work during the day, I cannot always get on at the appropriate time. I’m sure that I’m not the only one in this situation. Because of that, and because you’ve already received such a positive response; have you considered taking applications for a week, and putting them into a lottery? Limit one application per person, of course.

I am not sure what to expect as far as how many people will join, but I am considering opening spots in several different groupings, over several time periods, in order to spread it out a little bit and make it easier for people in different time zones to get a chance. I am so excited about the Christmas club. Each month I look forward to the new pattern. In 2019 we had 4 patterns with Christmas material & this year so far only 1. Does that mean, no longer will Christmas fabric ornaments be offered in the original club? Is it being phased out? Would the new digital video be available for purchase or is it already included if we already own the pattern & this would be an updated version?
I am over the moon about the new Christmas addition & hopefully get to take part.

Hi Diane, I am so sorry that your comment got overlooked until now. So sorry about that. I talked to Staci Ann and she said that we will have Christmas kits from time to time in the Ornament Girls Club, as of right now we don’t plan on selling access to the videos on their own (without the kit) in the Christmas club, and as for now, we don’t have plans to add the Christmas club videos to existing patterns. It seems like unfortunately it’s going to come down to internet speed. I imagine so many of us are interested that we are going to wake the morning of in anticipation.
I am a visual storyteller on Facebook and LOVE the comradery. I unfortunately have terrible signal out where I live.
I would gladly use my own fabric if there was an electronic membership to join in discussion and see color combination. For me this is my get away from illness and responsibilities of a special needs son. I will try to join but doubt I’ll get through.
Jen, with 1000 spots, I’m hoping it will be a little easier to get a place than it’s been in the past with some of our other kits where we only had 100-200 kits.
However, yes, we will absolutely show each one as we do them, and I’ll gladly give any fabric info, etc, to help anyone who does not get the kit have an easier time making something similar on their own.
I am not going to offer a digital-only option due to the fact that the patterns have already been done in the past, but I am considering possibly making each pattern available as a special during the month we are doing each one, for those that are interested. I’ll have more info on that if we decide to go that route.

As I live in Australia, the time difference can be quite an issue. As I work full time, I feel this may make it harder to get one of the 1000 places. I’ll see what the costs are, and keep my fingers crossed. I don’t want to give up my OG subscription.

I read your email of August 30th and still a little stumped.
With there being two clubs, according to some of your past remarks, we will be able to see both ornaments on-line for both clubs?
If we already have the pattern for that month, will we, as OC regular members, be able to purchase some of the Christmas Club embellishments, etc, if we don’t have them from the store ?
Last question, is the Glittery Flurry ornament for the new Christmas Club or the 12 weeks of Christmas? Wasn’t sure.
Hi Mary.. Hopefully I can help.
1. Yes, I am going to show photos of all ornaments (both clubs) each month. (I think that is what you are asking?)
2. I may have SOME of the Christmas Club embellishments and materials, but I know I won’t be able to provide all of them. For example, some of the fabrics we’ll be using throughout next year are no longer available. Wherever possible, I’ll provide sources or have things in my store, but I can’t promise the availability of everything.
3. The Glittery Flurry is the very first ornament kit in the Christmas Club. (we MAY use the Flurry pattern in the Challenge as well, but I don’t have that full pattern list completely nailed down yet. I’ll be sending Challenge info out later this month).

Hi I love my membership now but was wondering if I do xmas and cancel the current subscription do I still have access for all the patterns I have purchased over the years? Or am I supposed to copy them?

My question is when will that date be or is October 24th that date for current members to join. Also do you have any idea how much you be charging for the Christmas Club. Has any thought been given to allowing members to join based on club seniority? By that I mean can those who have been members since Nov. 2016 be offered membership first, then go to Dec. 2020, then Jan. 2017 and so forth. Kind of like a loyalty benefit for remaining a member all this time.
I only ask because my internet connection is at the spotty at the best of times among other reasons.

I just read you have approximately 2000 OG members. So if everyone of them want to sign up for the Christmas club doesn’t that mean that all of us without membership yet basically do not stand a chance at the Christmas club? I know how popular this is and it looks like I may be waiting awhile for the regular membership, as it is. I’m a patient person but this is driving me crazy! Lol

I know it can sound like you won’t have a chance, but we really don’t think every single one of our current members will join the Christmas club, since it’s a very niche group. Of course, there’s no way of knowing for sure what’s going to happen on Saturday but as it stands now we do believe there will be slots open for the general public. We wish we could take everyone who wants to join during this first year’s opening. Just know we’re trying to do this the fairest and best way possible for everyone. I have read all of the Christmas Club information and member questions but am still not clear about some details. Bear with me if the answers are posted somewhere and I have missed it,
I have been a kit/digital member for most of the time that you have offered the club. I am currently a digital only member as the “little white boxes” were accumulating quicker than I was completing them.
My understanding:
1. There is a separate Christmas club membership fee (as yet to be announced) from the OG regular membership.
2. The Christmas club is a kit-based membership.
3. If I keep my regular OG membership digital only I can also have the kit-based Christmas membership (providing I am one of the lucky 1,000).
Have I got a clear understanding of how the Christmas club works? I appreciate any feedback. Happy Ornamenting!!!

I’m beyond thrilled to have the chance to join the new Christmas Club. I am trying to make enough ornaments to decorate my tree with only OG ornaments. When I join the Christmas Club at $27 per month, does this cover the cost of the kit for that month?
Hi Jody, yep, sure does! The $27 includes everything you’ll need to make that month’s ornament. YAY!
Will people who did not get a spot in the Christmas club be able to see the ornament in the kit each month -such as a picture on the website? (I’m thinking inspiration here to make a similar version)

I live in Canada and the exchange rate is very high right now so I will have to pay more than $27.00 a month for membership. However, if it means FREE SHIPPING, I would love to sign up. I would like to prepare to use the link on the 24th as soon as it’s released, however I am concerned that the time difference may be an issue for me. For instance it may be 11 am in Florida but only 5 or 6 am here on Maui. If that’s the case I will definitely get up early. I have one question for the Christmas club. In your email you said it $27 a month and extra for shipping out side of America. I a so very sorry but I really tried but nothing has money. We have had another breach on our accounts and I tried everything but nothing worked. I want to join so bad but until Monday I won’t be able, then it may not be cleared by then. Thank you so very much for making such beautiful ornaments. If you feel that I can pay on Monday I would love to join. We have had a lot of health issues and then the breach or hack on our accounts.
