reindeer yarn wreath

I know a whole bunch of people are complaining that, once again, Christmas is here too early. Well, I can’t hear those people. I have been ready for the holiday season since December 26th, and now that November has finally made its way back around, I am starting to feel a little less guilty for listening to my Christmas music.

I have not actually put up any decorations yet…I’m honestly trying to hold off as long as I can. However, this morning I decided that putting a Christmas wreath on the door wouldn’t be too crazy (hopefully the rest of the neighborhood doesn’t disagree with me).

So of course I went to etsy to check out what kind of wreaths people are coming up with for Christmas this year, and there are some awesome ones! And I noticed a huge trend with wreaths made out of yarn and felt…like this one. How gorgeous is this?

Or this one…I love the contrast of the bright Christmas bulbs against the simple gray yarn:

There’s nothing like some red and white candy stripes to get you feeling Christmas-y:

Does it get any cuter than this? Nope, it sure doesn’t.

An argyle Christmas wreath? Yes, please.

I love the simplicity of this one:

But there are some beautiful non-yarn wreaths too, of course…

I love this felt flower wreath…it just looks so soft and squishy!

Wine corks…LOVE!

Who would have thought plain white burlap could make such a stunning wreath…

…and even more unexpected… pages from a vintage book. This is incredible:

I’m dying to try making my own yarn wreath. Maybe that will be a future blog post. In the meantime, I think I could stay on etsy looking at all the handmade wreaths for forever…

You’re welcome, Katie…your wreaths are gorgeous! I had a hard time deciding which of them to post here… your gray wreath, or your black and white one with the red bulbs. :D

Thanks for sharing those gorgeous wreath pics. I was going to try one of those this season. I already bought the supplies and I too have already heard the Christmas music, it does cheer the heart.
