an easy pink ribbon ornament DIY

I just came up with this on a whim today and wanted to share the idea because it turned out really pretty, and only took about 10 minutes.

I just used a plain ‘ol store-bought white ornament (a frosted one), and glued on some pink crystal rhinestones to create the ribbon. I used clear craft glue, and just dotted it onto the ornament to “draw” the ribbon, and then added the rhinestones – easy peasy!

I just came across your website a few weeks shy of when i wish i found it. I live in a building in NYC and have storage in the basement of the building along with other residents. This year when i went to get my ornaments I have collected throughout the years (13 to be exact) two of my boxes were gone and i was left with just red and silver balls. Someone had stolen all of my ornaments and decor for Christmas. I just found your website and through the years my son and I have made a lot of our ornaments, so finding this we will have to start over and your ornaments are beautiful. So beside using your DIY instructions we will be ordering some as well. Thank you for giving me a starting point to basically start over.

Leanne, I am SO, so sorry to hear that happened! I know there’s no replacing what is gone, but I hope you are able to quickly get a new collection going…

I cant figure out how to log in. I really would like to learn to make the ornaments. I have tried the ones where you cut and stuff the material. I used egg shaped balls they worked okay, but i didnt do as beautiful work as you. My sister gave me a bunch of glass balls and now i can use them. thanks for the info.
