Gilded Heart | OG Inspire

Welcome to my Ornament Girl Inspire Series!

These posts won't take you but a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas. 

Today's ornament: a beautiful Gilded Heart.

Pattern Info: This ornament was made with the Gilded Heart Pattern, which was our Ornament Girls Club January 2018 Design.

Materials Info: Made on a Soft Foam heart shape, with fabrics from a couple of places. The gold shimmer and pearl white fabrics are both from Timeless Treasures. The pink marble and pink floral are by Moda.

The metallic gold strips you see are actually wired ribbon, woven into a few places in the heart for a little extra sparkle.

It's decorated with rose gold and white pearl beads, and several shades of pretty pink paper roses.

This one was a bit more challenging to make (I personally find heart shapes just a little harder to hold in my hands) but the results were sure worth it.
