Why are spots limited?
A lot of advance planning goes into these monthly kits, so I plan to grow it each year by a number I feel we can handle.
We make every single kit by hand. (I know, you just don't see that kind of thing anymore, do you?)
We pre-cut all of the fabric into the exact-sized pieces you need for each pattern... by hand.
We bag up all of the beads, pins, sequins, and any other embellishments you'll need... by hand.
We even roll up all of the ribbons so you receive them in beautiful shape, and you guessed it... we roll them by hand.
And so, yep, we limit the number of kits we make every month so that we can keep our ornament kits as high-quality as they've always been.
I cannot open more spots than what we have available, as we need to order supplies way ahead, sometimes even a year in advance. This is especially true with holiday fabrics, which are typically only introduced once a year by the fabric manufacturers I love most.
In fact, when the idea for the Christmas Club came about, I realized I would need to order fabric and other supplies, for an entire year's worth of kits upfront.
I chose to do this for 1000 kits this first year, and slowly add on each year after.
If you join this year, your first kit will be the October 2023 Kit, which is this beautiful Fluted Star ornament, created with stunning metallic fabrics by Stof.
I love your patterns. How much does it cost to get into the original Ornament Girl Club. The one with original patterns. I had to stop for a while. Was wondering if there are any spots opening?
Hi Karen, the last time the digital club opened, it was $13/ month. We do plan to have a club opening before the end of the year for our digital club. We hope you’ll join us then!
I am wanting to join the digital club, I do have a question. I assume that once you sign up, you are sent the monthly pattern. What happens if you don’t care for the pattern that month? Are there other options, or do you have to take the offered one?
Thanks,
Dottie
And of course I read the instructions AFTER I registered.
I live in Canada – from what I just read, you can’t ship here. The registration form didn’t seem to care – willingly (happily even) took my card info. Will you just reverse any charges?
Hi Sherri, I replied to your email from yesterday, did you see it?
