Customer are Saying...
I've been making quilted ornaments for a few years, but have fallen in love with SugarPlum's Rosebud pattern. While it looks complicated, it is actually quite easy and fun. The directions are easy to follow with lots a very helpful hints. My favorite part is it's versatility. I've used it for Christmas, weddings and baby gifts. I just keep going back to it. Thanks, SugarPlum!

I purchased the Windmill pattern and soon gave it a try. WOW - that wasn't that hard (and it is beautiful). So I ventured into the Iris and Rosebud [amazing] tutorials. In about 10 days I had created 7 ornaments using SugarPlum patterns. Thanks Monica!! I adore your patterns!!

Who is Behind SugarPlum?
Monica has been an avid ornament hobbyist since 2013, when she first discovered The Ornament Girl's ornament tutorials. Although Monica's first attempt was - admittedly - quite terrible, she enjoyed the ornament-making process and later began giving away her creations as gifts.
Monica is a trained graphic designer, having received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications in 2004. Since then, she has held design-related positions in both the public and private sectors, and has worked intermittently as a visual communications consultant and graphic design freelancer.
Her business name - SugarPlum - references the iconic poem The Night Before Christmas, and charmingly reflects Monica's love of "all things Christmas" as well as her favorite approach to ornament design: "Classic, and with a touch of whimsy."
Monica makes her home (and her ornaments) in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin.
