When you make each week’s ornament, you can share it with me (& all the other participants) on Instagram<\/a> using the hashtag\u00a0#OrnamentGirlsChallenge<\/b>\u00a0(and if you’re an OG club member, please also share in our private group!)<\/p>\r\n In order to make all 12 ornaments, you will need…<\/i><\/p>\r\n 1.\u00a0About 2 to 2-1\/2 yards EACH of three different fabrics<\/b>\u00a0(<\/i>this is an approximation – you may use slightly different amounts depending on how you arrange your fabrics on your own ornaments. You can get a little extra if you want to be on the safe side!)<\/i><\/p>\r\n ****I recommend 3 fabrics that contrast highly with each other. (I’ve got some examples at the end of this post)<\/u>****<\/b><\/p>\r\n 2. A LOT of straight pins. I would go ahead and buy yourself a nice big one pound box from\u00a0HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n 3. Eleven\u00a03″ round foam balls<\/a>, & one\u00a04-1\/4″ tall foam cone.<\/a><\/p>\r\n 4. Whatever embellishments you’d like to use for all 12 ornaments (I’ll be using beads, and ribbon bows. I’m going to use the same embellishments for all 12 ornaments.)<\/p>\r\n 5. Each week’s pattern\u00a0(hint: the first week will be the FREE Basic Star pattern)<\/i><\/p>\r\n I don’t want to leave anyone out, so in order to make this as accessible as possible for\u00a0everyone<\/i>\u00a0to make along with me, each week’s pattern will be available at a very special deal! They’re called Precious Metals by RJR … we used these for our September Ornament Kit, and I love them so much, I want to make a whole set of ornaments with them. But… I might be doing a second set with some red, green, & white fabrics too.
