Want an easy and beautiful way to embellish your quilted ornaments? How about\u00a0flowers?<\/p>\n

Here are a few quick ideas:<\/h3>\n

Poinsettias<\/strong><\/a> make a lovely topper to any Christmas (or even just winter) ornament! You can find them in all shapes and sizes and they can be used in many different styles, from traditional to very modern! Check out the scrapbooking embellishments, or the Poinsettias in the floral department at your local craft store. (We also carry the perfect size in The Ornament Girl Supply Shop<\/a><\/strong>.)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"christmas-poinsettia-no-sew-quilted-posy-5\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"Quilted\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

You can also use flowers<\/strong><\/a> to create a pretty focal point, hide raw ends and messy parts of your ornaments, like in these Prairie <\/strong>Point <\/strong>Pinwheel<\/strong><\/a> ornaments.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"blue-floral-prairie-point-pinwheel-no-sew-ornament-2\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"pink-floral-prairie-point-pinwheel-no-sew-ornament-2\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

This pretty daisy came from a sprig of artificial flowers from the craft store. If you pop out the plastic stamen, you can pin your flower down easily (just like the poinsettias above). For this one, I doubled up with 2 daisies, and pinned them right over a ribbon bow with a pearl pin, but you can also use crystal beads<\/strong><\/a> or sequins<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"daisy-quilted-ornament-for-facebook\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"Dainty\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

Your flowers don’t always have to be the main attraction….\u00a0you can also tuck one into your\u00a0bow, like in this ornament. (Here, I left the stem on an artificial orchid, and then pinned through the stem, so the flower sits just to the side of the bow for a tropical touch.)<\/p>\n

And, of course, you can create a beautiful arrangement of color for your ornament. This ornament was featured in The Ornament Girls Club<\/strong><\/a> as a fall ornament. I glued 3 different flowers in varying Fall colors, to bring out the colors in the fabric of the ornament:<\/p>\n
