I’ve got a quilted ornament idea for you: make your own custom baby’s first Christmas quilted ornament, by embroidering a name, year, or whatever else you’d like it to say, onto a piece of fabric, and then centering it in the middle of the ornament.<\/p>\n

I made this one a couple of years ago for some friends, to match the colors and theme of their new baby’s nursery. (And an even better idea… you could use an actual blanket or crib sheet as your fabric!)<\/p>\n

The baby’s bedding had pictures of little buttons all over it, so I stitched a few buttons with some brown thread to make them look like the buttons on the sheets, and then glued them around the ornament.<\/p>\n
