With that being said, sometimes I need to give myself a little reality check. I really love what I do. I have spent this rainy Saturday so far working on a custom order, and it is coming along beautifully (in fact, I am chronicling my progress for a future blog post!). There is nothing I love more than sitting in my tiny craft room, surrounded by stacks of ribbon and fabric in every color and theme, beads, glue, paint, flowers, and whatever else I have managed to get my hands on. My daughter, Abigail, is sitting beside me, “designing” her own Christmas ornaments from the box of scraps that I have saved for her to play with, and we are both covered in glitter. Later, we will be taking a “business trip” to one of my favorite stores, JoAnn’s, to\u00a0 get a few things I will need to complete this order, where I will most likely leave with even more fun stuff for future ornaments. (The Christmas stuff is starting to come out, which means that I am in trouble!) I love what I do, and am so thankful for my wonderful (and patient!) customers who have enabled me to do this for the last 5 years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Every once in a while I get overwhelmed with my orders and waiting list, and a little bit stressed when I think of all of the people who are patiently waiting for a couple of months or more to receive their ornaments.
