You guys, we really want to take you out of your comfort zone this week! Stick with me here, because I think you're gonna be pleasantly surprised when you make this cute little guy.<\/p>\r\n

The Quilted Owl Pattern.<\/h3>\r\n

Darlene originally created this pattern ages ago. Since it's a little more niche-y, we don't see it visited as often as some of our other designs, but that's exactly why we're ‘challenging' you with it this week.<\/p>\r\n

So let me give you a few reasons to give this one a try this week:<\/h3>\r\n

It's simpler than it looks.<\/strong> It's really only a few small steps away from the Basic Star pattern and is made up primarily of Basic Triangles.<\/p>\r\n

It's adorable.<\/strong> This is one of those ornaments you've got to hold in your own hands to see how cute it is… my photos don't do it justice.<\/p>\r\n

You can really get creative with embellishments<\/strong> to make each one unique. (And we've got a BONUS video to help you with ideas… see the next point.)<\/p>\r\n
