OG Inspire: a St. Patrick’s Day Kimekomi Ornament

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This post is part of my OG Inspire Series. These posts won't take you but a few seconds to read. Each one will simply contain an ornament picture meant to inspire you & give you some new ideas.

Today's ornament: a St. Patrick's Day Kimekomi Ornament.

Pattern Info: This ornament was made using a pattern from a book called Japanese Kimekomi: Fast, Fun, and Fabulous Handballs. (<-- That's an Amazon affiliate link)

Materials Info: Made on a 3" Soft Foam Ball, with 2 different glittery fabrics I found at Joanns (in fact, the white fabric is the same one that I showed you in yesterday's Inspire post!)

I outlined the pattern with thin gold cord from Joanns. And then, to turn it into an ornament, I added a hanger made from gold seed beads.

Happy Ornament-ing!

I love this book, and Staci sells the tucking tool in her shop. In fact, that is how I first found Ornament Girls!

I love your ornaments. I’m interested in the cost for each kit.

Hi Donna, the Christmas Club is currently $29 a month for the kits and the Ornament Girls Club is the same. Both clubs are currently closed to new members but we do have waiting lists for both. Would you like me to put you on those waiting lists so you’ll be emailed when we reopen? Thanks! Janelle
