We're on Week 3!

For Week 3, I'm excited to bring one of our past CLUB patterns out of the vault!

It's the Mandala Pattern!

It's been about a year and a half since we first debuted this amazing pattern, and even then, I knew this was one of those patterns destined to become a classic.

The way the folds come together to form a circle, the 'sunburst' effect of the triangles, the way you can mix and match any number of fabrics and colors.... I really think this pattern is just genius.

You can even create a 'Snow Globe' type center for this design, and we've included an extra video tutorial with this pattern showing a Snow Globe version being made step-by-step.

(and check out Darlene's challenge ornament above for some inspiration!)

The Snow Globe bonus video is IN ADDITION to our usual full-length ebook AND video tutorial, showing you how to do every step.

As always, you can get this pattern at a special price this week!

IMPORTANT! If you were an Ornament Girl during April 2021, DO NOT BUY THIS. You have automatic access! Look in your Pattern Library, under the 'Classic Patterns' tab. (You may need to log out, and then log back in again.)

BUT! If you DON'T yet own this pattern, now's your chance to own this previously club-only pattern! You can grab it HERE for a very special price for this week only!

Your turn!

When you make this ornament, please don't forget to share it with me and the other Challengers! You can share it on Instagram using the hashtag #OrnamentGirlsChallenge so we can all see it!

(And, if you're an Ornament Girls Club Member, please post it in our private FB group!)

I'll see ya in a week, with Challenge Pattern #4. (Make sure you're on my email list!)

Happy Ornamenting!

Staci Ann

p.s. If you bought your foam ahead of time based on the Supply List I gave you, this week uses an 8-Lined Ball. But, don't worry if you don't have a pre-lined ball... you can also draw your own. (We'll show you how!)

Can someone provide the breakdown for three fabrics please? The materials list only has the fabric breakdown for a two-fabric ornament. Thank you!!!!

I would like this as well. As the challenge is three fabrics.

The first four layers use the same size pieces and the fifth uses a different size. If you know where you want your colors to go, just count how many you need for each side. Because it’s up to you to make the ornament your way, it’s impossible for them to give specific measurements for everyone.

It kind of depends on where you want your color placement to be. The first four layers use the same size pieces in the two color variation and the fifth layer uses a different size. Just count how many you want to use and where, then you’ll know how many pieces you need.

For those who are asking about the fabric break downs for 3 colors vs. 2, that will depend a little bit on you. In order to protect the copyright, I don’t want to list specific measurements here, but I will let you know that most of us used the same fabrics for layers 1,3 and 5. Then mixed it up on layers 2 and 4. If you would like more specific information, please feel free to send us an email and we can give you some additional assistance. Happy ornament-ing!

I love the use of tulle in the bow, can I ask what size piece of tulle did you use?
