Thank you for sharing all these ideas & tips. I like to use old knitting metal needles with glue, Easy to get beads back off the metal. Love the idea of flat-back bead trim around the seam. I too use glue not just the adhesive backing to hold such trims in place. Another option is to hang a dangle from the topper so it dangles inside the ornament. Adds a nice dimension.
