I made this one a few years back. I called it “Lucky Charm” because of the cute little 4 leaf clover charm I added. It’s based on the Basic Quilted Ball Pattern (which will also show you how to attach charms and embellishments, like I’ve done here).

(Oh, and by the way, I got the clover charm from TwoPurplePandas.com. You can see a list of more supplies that I use right HERE.)

Another cute one from a few years ago…

Here’s my favorite. This one is made from Longaberger “Lots of Luck” fabric:

All of these ornaments follow the 4-layer Quilted Ball Tutorial, which you can read about right HERE. I hope these inspire you to make your own ornament projects for St. Patrick’s Day. :)

I am attempting to make the quilted egg. I’ve cut all the fabric as instructed, but when I looked for, and even ordered the eggs even though the web sites say 2 13/16 x 3 13/16 as stated in your instructions, when I receive them they are 2 7/8 x 3 13/16. I have tried to use them, but the fabric pieces are too large and the fabric overlaps rather than meets. Would you please advise as soon as possible as I would like to make them for Easter gifts!
Thank you for your prompt response,
    Judi
