It may be August, but the Christmas (in July) spirit has not left my mind in the slightest. Last night I was feeling inspired and didn’t feel like going to bed at a normal time, so I decided to experiment with some really gorgeous blue satin that I bought way back in the winter, but never used. I bought this satin SOLELY because of the fact that it was such an amazing color…kind of between a midnight and teal blue. Just really, really beautiful. I decided to pair it up with some silver accents, and the result is this ornament, “Moonlight”…

I trimmed the blue satin with a silver sequin trim…then added 3 clear crystal beads topped with silver seed beads between each row or trim…and surrounding those are tiny Swarovski crystal rhinestones. The ornament hangs from a thin silver braided rope, and at the top and bottom of the ornament are 2 more crystal beads.

This ornament is now available in my ornament shop..and I would love to know what you think of it. :)
