Hi Staci, I am sooooo excited to hear that you have created the Ornament Kit Club! I definitely want to become an Ornament Girl so I have set an alarm for 7am on Dec 1st (I am in the Pacific Northwest) so that I can get in to the club as I know that you will certainly reach your membership limit quickly! My girlfriend and I both want to be in the club but she doesn’t have pay pal can I do both of ours on my PayPal account?
Hi Carol… Yes, you can. You’ll have to sign up in 2 separate transactions though, and when you are signing up for her, be sure to use her name and shipping address (it will give you the opportunity to do that in the checkout process). Just let me know if there are any issues.. and thank you so much to both of you!

Waiting on pins and needles to click that ‘Join Now’ link!!! I haven’t created my latest ornament yet … I’m still working on getting my Craft Room ‘just so’ prior to my surgery in 13 days. But, I’ve already downsized by one craft! And my sister-in-law is delighted! She got two ‘tackle boxes’ of stamps and inks for her handmade card-making hobby and loves me even more than she already did, if that’s even possible! LOL! WOW! I have more than I even imagined. I’m gonna be busy quilting once I’m healed up. I’m SO EXCITED!! See ya in 5!

Hi, I would so love to join this group. I have been following you for some time now. I did download your free pattern. Unfortunately I live on disability and there isn’t money left for this each month for this. It would be awesome to do this It would be a good project yo keep from boredom. I will keep following you and if I have extra money some month I would order a lot from you. They are so beautiful.

I can’t imagine this happening but if we get an ornament kit that we just absolutely don’t care for, can it be returned? For instance I would never ever want sports or animal related ornaments. :)
Hi Lynda… I will be keeping the themes more about holidays, and not something that I don’t think everyone would love. I won’t be doing any sports themes or anything like that because I know that would only appeal to a percentage of members. :)

I just signed up and I am very excited with this new adventure! I purchased all your patterns a couple of years ago and they are fabulous. I have been making these quilted ornaments for years (with a slightly different pattern I learned from a friend) and use the finished products as gifts all the time. Thank you so much for this opportunity and I look forward to my first ornament kit in the mail soon!

I signed up to join this club approximately 30 minutes ago, but have not received the verification email that Iwas supposed to receive. I might add that mypaypal account went through without any problems. Am I a member or not? I have also joined the Facebook group and was added to that almost immediately.

Hi Staci – would love to join your club but, unfortunately, it is not possible for 2 reasons – I am a pensioner on a fixed income and, second, there is a bogus PayPal account floating out there somewhere with my name on it and I am trying to get it closed – have never had a PayPal account myself but I keep getting notices from them that a purchase has been made through said account.

When I go to paypal it says $24.95 plus shipping, the club says 19.95 plus shipping?

I am so sorry Theresa. I can’t believe it, either… I would have never thought all those spots would go so quickly. I am most likely going to have some of the Dec kit left over, so please keep an eye out for that, but I had to close the membership because I need to make sure I can handle that amount of members and kits first. I am SO very sorry. I hate to disappoint you!

Hi Staci, I’m so sad that I was not able to join the club when I wanted so badly. I was at work when your club opened up at 10 am, and missed the chance of joining (so sad). , i will just have to watch for something next month and hopefully I will get the chance. The ornament looks great. Good job. I’m in the process of doing some ornament for a ornament exchange at work. Best of luck, i still hope i will be able to join. Thanks you do good work. I had tried from 10 a.m. to get pay pal to ok by request but they kept giving me a hard time about my password., I was at work but wanted to join so badly that I even tried changing my password with them, but nothing would work. I am so disappointed, I am 75 yrs. old and was so looking forward to joining so I could make gifts for family and friends. Oh well, I am glad you got your quota…

Doesn’t surprise me in the least that your limit was reached so quickly! I have just now seen your email letting us know about it. (Monday & Tuesday are payroll days for me!) I’ll be sure to be watching for the next sign up! I think you are making very wise decisions, making sure that you can handle what you have and not over-stretch yourself! We sure don’t need you to be having a meltdown or worse! And you don’t need it either!!! My sister, Joni Clark introduced your website to me and I am sooooo glad she did! The last time we were there, we each worked on making an ornament, then after we got home, my sister sent me several “kits” that she put together for me from the materials we had gotten together.

Wanda, when you’re on Facebook, on your regular home page, you’ll see a list of links and groups that you belong to on the left side of the page. Our group should be listed there. Will you let me know if you don’t see it there?

Does a pattern come with the kit so we can use our own fabric and materials to make more?
Hi Valerie… Yes, you get a pattern, and not only that, but in the pattern there are links to where you can buy the exact colors/brands of materials I provided in the kit. :)
(Or, you could vary it up with your own materials and ideas, of course!)
